Responsibilities
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
- Prepare a detailed project work-plan with associated resource requirement profile identification..
- Lead, monitor and maintain progress of the project plan to ensure delivery of the key milestones and project outcomes within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality.
- Control and report progress to the Project Steering Group/Project Sponsor and escalate any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiate corrective action where necessary in order to keep the project on track.
- Identify:
- 1. And manage project scope, dependencies, and key milestones across all functional areas of the business.
- 2. And engage key resources needed to execute each project’s plan.
- 3. Inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
- 4. And resolve issues and conflicts within the project team and with customers.
Required Skill Set and Experience
- Overall, 6-8 Years of experience in project management lifecycle.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in project management for Data Analytics projects.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Iterative and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in WBS Management, resource management, task allocation, task progress tracking, process documentation.
- Good experience in customer expectations management and leading status meetings with clients.
- Should be good at consolidating project performance parameters (schedule, effort, cost, defects, etc) for project status reporting to Client and Internal Management.
- Should be familiar with project management tools such as JIRA, Zoho Project, MS Project etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with client independently.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to manage project deliverables.
- Must have proactive, yet positive attitude along with quick problem-solving skills when issues arise.
- Certification of PMP or Scrum will be a plus.
